A weekend spent in Sunriver to close out the summer is always a good idea. First thing on our list is to rent our bikes. The two little boys rode tandem behind Justin and I so we could keep up our tradition of long bike rides in the morning. We normally hit the SHARC in the afternoon but we rented through Sunriver Resort this time around, and had special access to the Cove Pool. Thankfully we didn't have to wear masks and we were able to get a reservation with no problem. What a fun pool! The kids had a blast on the slide. Andy, Mari, Kyle and Heath also joined us this year. We met up with some of their friends, who were staying in Caldera Springs, and drove down to LaPine to raft down a different section of the Deschutes River. There is nothing more peaceful than floating the river. Central Oregon really is a small piece of Heaven.
