Great Soccer Season...

While Justin and I were in Grand Caymen, Uncle Jeff and Aunt Britt took Ryan to his end of the season party for soccer. He received his first participation medal...big deal for him! How cute is this Kindergarten team?!

Happy 11th Birthday Kate...

Kate and her friend Sally share the same birthdate. This year we celebrated together with a fun trip to the Haunted Cornmaze with friends, followed by a sleepover at Sally's house. These two girls have some fun friends who braved the maze, chased by scary characters with chainsaws and all. Kate loves dance, loves fashion and shopping, loves watching YouTube family vlogs, The show Dance Moms, and Andy Mack, begs for sleepovers all the time. She loves tomatoes, loves to sew, makes up dances all the time and loves to hang out with friends.

Sunset Men's Soccer Halftime Show...

We always try to attend the Sunset vs. Jesuit Boys Varsity soccer game every year. This year we had our own little halftime show!

We Found Fall...

Preston and I went for a walk and discovered lots of fall leaves along the way. He loved picked up handfuls of leaves and letting fall through his fingers. It was such a sweet moment to watch. We live in such a beautiful part of the world and I love watching the leaves turn colors at this time of the year, especially the leaves that turn bright red!

Kate's First Dance Photo Shoot

Where did our baby girl go? Kate auditioned and was selected to be a part of the Competitive Company at Elite Dance Studio. She is so excited to be on the Mini team. One of the perks of being on company is the opportunity to have pictures taken by a professional photographer. These are our favorites. We have officially hit the tween stage!

Ryan's First Soccer Season...

It's finally Ryan's turn to start soccer. The level of play is very kick and chase but Ryan likes to spread the field and "Cherry Pick", waiting by the goal until the ball comes to him, so he can kick it in. He loves his team and loves playing the game. 

39 Years Young...

Justin has found a new love for Pickle Ball so to celebrate his 39th year we played pickle ball. His good friend Marshall even gifted him an entire outfit, along with equipment, to support his new hobby. It's like I blinked and 20 years flew by since I first met him. 4 kids later and a lot of other things wrapped up in between...and dang, it all feels so slow in the day to day but when we hit milestones like 20 years it feels so fast! Happy 39th! We love you!

Magical Sunriver...

The tradition lives on! We spent another great weekend with the McCauley's in Sunriver, OR! We look forward to this weekend all summer. The house we chose to stay in this year had lots of space, games, tons of bikes, a hot tub, and extra this year...a sauna! Justin was in heaven! Ha! We swam, rode our bakes all over and to the village and back, played pickle ball, played at the park, and much much more! I hope my kids look back on this tradition and remember having so much fun!

 

 

 

 

 

First Day of School 2018-19...

It's THE last first day of elementary school here for Kate. She is finally at the top of the school in 5th grade! She kicked things off all on her own from packing her back pack to making her own lunch and arranging her ride(her best friend Emmy came to pick her up) to school. Literally all Justin and I had to do was take a picture and give her some first day of school love before sending her off. She rocked her first day in Mrs. Klingner's class. I am hoping this is her best year yet!

  

  

  Today was Ryan's first day of Kindergarten at Bonny Slope. He is in Miss Kang's class and also had a great first day with recess(shocker) being his favorite part of the day. Kate made his lunch, we packed his back pack and he was off to ride the bus for the very first time. He was not nervous at all. Kate was a great big sister to him all day today. He is definitely excited to go back tomorrow.

Zach is the big guy at school this year as an 8th grader. How do I have a kid one year shy of entering high school, seriously?! He too got up and made his lunch, got himself ready and like Kate all I had to do was take a picture and give some first day of school love before sending him off. He was excited to start school so I am hoping that enthusiasm stays with him throughout the entire year. 

 Poor Preston was so confused at everything going on around him this morning. It finally hit him when Ryan and Kate got on the bus and he realized that he could not follow them on. The tears started to flow. It was so sad, but it made waking up from his nap to a full house of his siblings that much sweeter.
