We had our family reunion at Shasta Lake this year. The weather and water was nice and warm, with lots of sunshine for Justin to get his tan on, and for the kids to have fun tubing and surfing behind the boat. We tried something new this trip and ventured off to Little Backbone Creek for a water hike to discover the natural waterslides at the top. We have been coming to Shasta my whole life and I can't believe we have never discovered this creek until now. Some parts of the trail were a bit sketchy to have Preston walking and climbing along with us but we all made it to the top and back. We had a great week!
