And this is why we save up for vacations! The Grand Cayman Island was nothing short of amazing. It's no wonder the Seven Mile Beach is named one of the best beaches in the world. This country is clean, polite and beautiful and the resort(Kimpton Seafire) we treated ourselves to all week was absolutely gorgeous! When Justin and I vacation we spend a lot of time lounging on the beach and and sitting by the pool. We did venture out on the resort bikes and stopped at local places to eat and discovered the island via the local transportation in mini vans. One of our favorite activities was boating out to swim with the sting rays. We also stopped to see the star fish and swam with some beautiful small fish in this part of the ocean. The iguanas are the island's wild animal, and we saw them in all sorts of sizes. The entire week we couldn't get over how crystal clear the water was. It truly looked like it does on the postcard! We talked our friends, Val and Austen, into meeting up with us halfway through the week. We always have such a fun time with them. This was definitely an unforgettable trip!
