Brace Face...

Halfway through his 7th grade year and he got braces! He wasn't nervous about it, but I wasn't too sure he was going to survive the first three days. There may have been a tear or two shed. Dr. Sierk told him he would be in them for at least 18 months. 

Girls from Work...

I teach dance at Elite Dance Studio just a mile down the road from our house. I love the convenience and atmosphere of this job but what I love even more are the women I work with. We usually only get to have small conversations in passing, so it was nice to be able to sit down for a nice dinner and really catch up with all of them. I feel so lucky to associate with such talented people.

Ringing in 2018!

We hosted Thanksgiving and Christmas, so why not just finish it off with a good New Year's Eve Party too! We invited the Bagley's, McCauley's and Uncle Andy's family over for yummy food and games. We played some new games that everyone got for Christmas like Hashstag and also taught the kids how to play spoons! I have an appreciation for what New Year's is symbolic for and the motivation to make positive changes in our lives is always something to look forward to, but what is usually a pretty overrated holiday turned to be really fun!
